Class Descriptions

 Body Bar & Aerobics: Class is taught using low impact moves then introduces higher intensity options making this a functional class for all levels. The Body Bar is used to elicit proper body mechanics when performing squats, lunges, arm curls and overhead presses.

Cardio Blast: This cardio-based class continuously moves you to increase and challenge your heart rate. Develop endurance, power, agility and balance with athletic drills, step and plyometric patterns, or kickboxing and aerobic moves. Classes will vary with instructor. 

Cycle: Class is done on stationary bicycles lead by an instructor who coaches you through drills simulating outdoor cycling. The music and group setting will motivate you through a great heart-pumping workout. Space is limited call 508-540-8896 reserve a bike.

Group Power: This 60 minute barbell program strengthens all your major muscles in an inspiring, motivating group environment with fantastic music and awesome instructors. Discover results using simple, athletic movements designed for all ages and fitness levels.

Kickboxing: A knock-out class with explicit instruction start to finish. Beginner to Advanced levels focus on proper form and technique while practicing drills and combinations. No previous experience needed for this fusion of boxing and martial arts.

Pilates: Based on the works of Joseph Pilates this class focuses on basic mat exercises with an emphasis on sequencing, proper form, body alignment and breathing. Strengthen and tone muscles, improve posture, and develop flexibility and balance.

Sculpt: Redefine yourself with this toning class that focuses on muscle endurance. Light weight resistance training is designed to increase overall functional fitness using a variety of props in a friendly and motivating environment.

Step: Utilize an adjustable step platform for a HIGH energy LOW impact workout. .  Discs may be added for a combination class to strengthen and lengthen all the major muscle groups of the body. Other props can be included in classes for muscle conditioning or in 3 to 1 interval ratios to challenge ALL the systems of your body. Classes will vary with instructor.

Yoga: A very important part of any exercise program is stretching. Yoga offers relaxation and flexibility through basic Hatha postures and breathing techniques. restorative elements are incorporated to help reduce stress and create an overall sense of wellbeing. What a great way to add "balance" to your fitness routine.  

: Zumba utilizes the principals of interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning and total body toning. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps using a fusion of Latin and International music.
